Overview
Gedeon GRC Consulting was selected as a prime consultant to provide construction inspection services for a capital project to replace twenty deficient overhead sign structures. The work is expected to increase safety and the efficient movement of traffic by providing motorists with essential information to aid their decision-making.
Scope of services
Gedeon GRC ensured that the contractor’s work conformed to the provisions of the contract documents. The scope included detailed inspection, on-site field testing of materials and other construction activities as necessary, field measurement and collection of data to submit monthly and final estimates and progress reports, and preparation of record plans showing all changes from the contract plans. All records are kept in accordance with the Manual of Uniform Record Keeping (MURK), including Site Manager and EBO.
