Overview
Gedeon GRC Consulting provided construction management and value engineering services for the design and construction of three schools in Roosevelt, Nassau County, for the Roosevelt School District in conjunction with the New York State Department of Education (NYSED):
- Roosevelt Middle School — 160,000 SF building structure: $44 million
- Centennial Elementary School design and construction — 80,000 SF building structure: $27 million
- Washington Rose Elementary School — 100,000 SF building structure: $22 million
The scope for the three schools encompassed facilities such as auditoriums/theaters, libraries, laboratories, research centers, stairs, ramps, football fields, basketball courts and gymnasiums, running tracks, pool construction, locker rooms with showers, cafeterias, kitchens, playgrounds and faculty offices.
